A Mechanism for State-Business Cooperation Will Be Established to Modernize Infrastructure In Andijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Andijan, plans are underway to establish systematic cooperation between government bodies and entrepreneurs.
By Presidential resolution No. PP–63 dated 16 February 2026, measures have been approved to develop external engineering and utility networks in the region.
The document provides for a comprehensive modernization of engineering and utility infrastructure, equipping cities and districts—including the Yangi Andijan (Babur) microdistrict of the Andijan district—with modern engineering networks, while also supporting investors’ activities.
To coordinate work between the state and business community, the joint-stock company “Andijan Invest Kompaniyasi” will be established, serving as a bridge between authorities and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, to finance infrastructure projects, the Entrepreneurial Infrastructure Development Fund under the Andijan regional administration will be transformed into the Targeted Regional Development Fund of Andijan Region, allowing resources to be allocated more effectively toward priority initiatives.
