A man with COVID-19 dies in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A man who was diagnosed with coronavirus infection on 2 June died in Tashkent.

According to the Ministry of Health, a 72-year-old resident of Tashkent was taken to the Virology Research Institute. He was diagnosed with COVID-19.

In 2000 and 2019, he suffered two myocardial infarctions. He was also treated with a diagnosis of coronary heart disease, exertional angina, hypertension, type 2 diabetes.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the patient died of cardiopulmonary failure, acute cerebrovascular accident.

It should be noted that this is 16 deaths from complications associated with COVID-19 in Uzbekistan.
