Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 67-year-old man, who had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus, died in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

From 26 June, a 67-year-old resident of Almazar district of Tashkent had symptoms of coronavirus - fever and sore throat. But he did not seek medical help.

Due to the deteriorating state of health on 1 July, the man was hospitalized. On the same day he was diagnosed with coronavirus infection. He was transferred to the intensive care unit.

The patient was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, bilateral pneumonia, II degree respiratory failure, coronary heart disease and hypertension.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the man died from acute respiratory and heart failure.
