Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 August 2020, at about 21:00 at the Angor checkpoint located in the city of Namangan, a car of the Nexia brand of citizen A.K. was stopped and inspected with the participation of attesting witnesses.

During the search under the passenger seat of 39-year-old T.T., 482.62 grams of brown narcotic drug "hashish" with a specific odor, wrapped in a black plastic bag, were found. The discovered agent was seized in accordance with the established procedure. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation T.T. indicated that he had received the seized narcotic drugs in the center of Yangikurgan region from a certain citizen "A" and was taking them to Pap district for transfer to an unknown person and for this service he received 2 million soums.

In the criminal case T.T. was brought in as an accused and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of "detention". The preliminary investigation continues, measures are being taken to identify the persons involved in the crime.
