Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 July 2022, a joint meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent.

At the joint meeting, the issue of approving Decree No. UP-164 “On amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2 July 2022 “On the introduction of a state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan” was considered.

It was noted that according to this Decree, the words “from 21:00 to 07:00” in paragraph 2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2 July 2022 No. UP-164 “On the introduction of a state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan” are replaced by the words “from 23:00 to 05:00.

At the meeting, a joint resolution of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis was adopted on the approval of this Decree. 

At this, the joint meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan completed its work.
