Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Specialists at the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant (TMZ) underwent specialized training at the Danieli Automation training center, which is located in the Italian city of Buttrio, the company’s press service said.
Tashkent Metallurgical Plant will become one of the most modern industrial facilities in Uzbekistan. Given the uniqueness of the enterprise, which has no analogues not only in the country, but also in the Central Asian region, professional training and education of personnel is a paramount task.
And it’s not just words. TMZ workshops will be equipped with advanced and fully automated European equipment used by leading metallurgical enterprises in the world. To manage it, special training and qualifications are required. That is why the company has developed a special program for the training and retraining of personnel, designed for several years in advance.
At present, 18 specialists of the enterprise have been trained in Italy under the program "Automation and Electrical Maintenance", which lasted exactly a month. These are engineers of the automated process control system, engineers for frequency converters, as well as engineers and specialists in the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
“At Danieli Automation, our employees were trained to work with control systems, automation, and optimization of production lines and processes. The learning process consisted of several stages, including theory, practical training at a similar enterprise. Now, having returned home, they will transfer the gained experience and knowledge to other colleagues. All this is very important for obtaining quality products, since for Uzbekistan it will be a completely new facility with previously unused technologies,” the press service of the enterprise explained.
It should be noted that the Italian side was not chosen by chance for the training of TMZ personnel. Today Danieli is one of the three world manufacturers of suppliers of equipment and systems for the metalworking industry in the world. The company has eight factories in Italy, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Thailand, China, India and Russia. Its training centers annually graduate hundreds of highly qualified specialists working at leading metallurgical enterprises around the world.
In November 2018, the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant signed a cooperation agreement with Danieli. The equipment and technologies supplied will meet the most modern requirements and international quality standards for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. The document also envisages the training by the Italian side of Uzbek specialists.
