Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By order of the Government of Uzbekistan, a government commission has been established to study the causes and consequences of the collapse in the construction site of the Yunusabad metro line in Tashkent and to eliminate them promptly.

The members of the commission will study the causes and consequences of the accident that occurred on the morning of 18 December 2019, as well as provide assistance to the victims and their families.

In the result of heavy rain, an emergency occurred (partial collapse) in an open section of a construction site to extend the Yunusabad metro line.

Information about the death of two people during the collapse is confirmed. Three more are reported missing.
