Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A new Mustaqillik Hiyoboni alley was opened in Qoqand, where a giant flag of our republic was installed. The festive event, timed to coincide with the new year, has turned into festivities.

The organizers of the event - the khokimiyat of the city of Qoqand, the Qoqand city administration of physical culture and sports, the Qoqand city council of the Youth Union and others tried their best to bring a real festive mood to the city. As part of the festivities that took place over three days, New Year’s performances were organized for residents and guests of Kokand in the new Mustaqillik Hiyoboni alley.

As part of the festive event, the grand opening of a number of secondary schools in the city of workout sites was held, the main task of which is to introduce the younger generation to sport and a healthy lifestyle. The initiator and implementer of the social project was the Triathlon Federation of Uzbekistan.

At once, several sports schools of the city have organized outdoor sports grounds where students can spend leisure time with health benefits in their free time. Soon, another 10 city schools will be equipped with modern treadmills, playgrounds for basketball, volleyball, etc. In addition to such sites, secondary schools will organize zones with modern simulators for performing various exercises. It is planned to build such sites in all regions of the country.

The organizers of the social project to create open sports grounds note that in this way they intend to contribute to the upbringing of a new generation of athletes.
