A full-fledged educational cluster to appear in Uzbekistan on the basis of MISiS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, it is planned to create a full-fledged educational cluster on the basis of the branch of the MISiS Research Technological University, which is located in Almalyk. This is envisaged in the draft government decree developed by the Ministry of Higher Education.

The cluster will be created to train specialists for the mining and metallurgical industry.

The school will specialize in advanced studies of mathematics, physics, chemistry, information technology, economics and foreign languages. It is planned to apply training programs in international educational institutions, as well as introduce in the educational process the initial cycles of vocational training of students in the areas of robotics, software modeling and engineering programming.

They must instill the skills of self-education and scientific and creative work. Another interesting point is the basis of programming and security.

The curriculum at the school will be designed for 11 classes, but in the first year of study it will begin from 7th to 10th grade on the basis of a competition that will be held by the Almalyk branch of MISiS. In this class should not exceed 30 people.

It is expected that at the end of the school year, students will be forced to study in pedagogical councils.

It is planned to train specialists in the areas of Nonferrous and Rare Metals Metallurgy, Ferrous Metals Metallurgy, Foundry, Pressure Metals Processing, Opencast Mining, Underground Mining, Mineral Processing, Mine Surveying "," Automation and control of technological processes and production "," Mining Electromechanics ".
