A Fee Introduced for Commercial Filming at Markets in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov has approved new tariffs for commercial video and photo shooting at city markets and shopping complexes. Under the resolution, the cost of filming is set at 5 million soums per hour.

In addition, tariffs for paid parking for passenger cars at markets have been updated: on weekends, parking for up to three hours will cost 25,000 soums, and more than four hours will cost 50,000 soums.

It is noted that the new rules do not apply to foreign tourists and media representatives, who may continue filming free of charge.

The measure is aimed at regulating commercial activity and streamlining operations in the city's trading areas.
