Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 21 November 2019, a delegation of heads of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Uzokboy Begimkulov arrived in Belgium to participate in the EU-Central Asia: Sustainable Future through Education Conference education ”, the Foreign Ministry said.

The event is expected to bring together high-level experts from the EU and Central Asia to discuss the relationship between quality education, innovation and employment opportunities.

The EU is supporting the Central Asian region through various tools and initiatives, such as the Erasmus+ program and the Central Asian Education Platform.

According to the Mission of Uzbekistan to the EU, as part of the delegation’s trip, meetings with representatives of universities of European countries are planned to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in higher education.
