Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 July 2022, in Moscow, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov met with the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergei Lebedev.

Vladimir Norov noted that the Commonwealth has been and remains a popular platform for the exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda.

The mutual readiness of the parties for active cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth in areas of mutual interest was confirmed.

Various aspects of upcoming events were discussed, including holding the next meeting of the CIS Ministerial Council in Uzbekistan.

An exchange of views took place on topical regional and international issues.

The Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee was informed in detail about the discussion in Uzbekistan of amendments and additions to the Constitution, the main priority of which is the whole person, his life, freedom, honor and dignity, inalienable rights and interests.
