Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of international cooperation, Uzbekneftegaz received a delegation from Meisei University (Japan), consisting of 12 people headed by Professor Hiromas Tanaka.

The purpose of this visit was the exchange of professional experience both between students of educational institutions of Uzbekneftegaz and between teachers.

From 30 October to 1 November 2019, as part of this visit, the delegation visited the Branch of the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, on the basis of which the delegation of the University of Meisei (Japan) shared their experiences with students and teachers of the Branch on the topic of Japanese culture, development of information technology, business administration and much more.

Also, one day was allocated for students of the Branch and University of Meisei (Japan) in order to familiarize the Japanese delegation with the sights of Tashkent. As part of this event, the students of the Branch, together with students of Meisei University (Japan), united into groups and examined the historical places of Tashkent, cultural heritage monuments, exchanging views in the process.

In addition, from 2 to 4 November 2019, a visit to the Bukhara College of the Oil and Gas Industry was organized for the Japanese delegation. On the basis of which, seminars and exchange of experience between members of the Japanese delegation and students and teachers of the college were also held.

In addition, in order to popularize the historical places of Uzbekistan, on 5 November 2019, a tour of the city of Samarkand was organized for the delegation of the University of Meisei, where the delegation was able to get acquainted with the historical monuments and heritage of the people of Uzbekistan.

Upon returning to Tashkent, on 7 November, a meeting was organized for the delegation of the University of Meisei with the leadership and students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. During this visit, the Japanese delegation was acquainted with the activities of the two above universities. In addition, students of the University of Meisei (Japan) organized a seminar for students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

This trip of the delegation of Meisei University (Japan) is very promising in terms of establishing a relationship between students and teachers of both countries, as well as the exchange of research experience, the implementation of future joint projects and much more.
