A delegation of the UAE arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the United Arab Emirates headed by Minister of Energy and Industry Suhayl Muhammad Al Mazrui arrived in Tashkent on 1 May 2019.

This trip was organized in the framework of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates in March of this year.

The delegation, composed of members of the government and major emirati companies, was warmly welcomed with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister E. Ganiev, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE B. Ibrahimov and other officials.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged plans and expectations from the current trip and outlined priority areas for joint work.

The program of the visit of the UAE delegation includes working meetings with ministries and departments of Uzbekistan dedicated to the implementation of a number of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan.
