Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 4 November 2019, a delegation of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbaeva, arrived on an official visit to this country at the invitation of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan was met by the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Shakirov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Nizamkhodzhaev and other officials at the international airport of the city of Nur Sultan.

During the visit, meetings will be held with the leadership of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, senators, and topical issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation, including inter-parliamentary relations, will be discussed.

It is planned to sign the "Plan of practical measures" (Roadmap) for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2020.
