A delegation of the Oliy Majlis meets with the youth of Uzbekistan in Seoul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The members of the Oliy Majlis delegation in Seoul also met with representatives of young people from Uzbekistan, who study and work in the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, an exchange of views on the further development of the country was held, and active participation of youth in the implementation of reforms and transformations in Uzbekistan was discussed.

It was noted that the country has created all the necessary conditions for the harmonious development of youth, the realization of their opportunities and interests, free participation in the discussion of the most important issues of the country’s socio-political life. In particular, youth expressed their readiness to take part in improving the unified platform of public initiatives “mening.fikrim.uz”, using the knowledge and experience gained during the training.

The positive changes taking place in the country and the measures taken to protect the rights and freedoms of women and ensure gender equality were emphasized.

The meeting was held in the form of an open dialogue, everyone could not only share their opinion, but also ask a question of interest to the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the meeting, parliamentarians noted that among the goals of youth policy in the country, the implementation of a constant dialogue with youth, taking into account its interests, as well as comprehensive support for students and creative youth.
