A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan visits the UK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the international exhibition “Security and Public Order”, held in the British city of Farnborough, Dunyo reported.

This forum, held since 1981, has established itself as a good platform for establishing practical cooperation between law enforcement agencies, manufacturers of special equipment and the scientific community of various countries in the field of ensuring public order, countering the threats of terrorism, organized crime and drug trafficking.

During the event, representatives of Uzbekistan held talks with manufacturers of modern police equipment and equipment, got acquainted with the latest technologies for crime investigation, digital forensics, collecting, analyzing and systematizing the crime database, training simulators used by the British law enforcement agencies.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, meetings were held with representatives of Home office of Great Britain, who introduced their Uzbek colleagues to the system of organizing the activities of the British police services, their material and technical equipment, the principles of interaction with the public and cooperation with international partners.

The delegation was particularly interested in the implementation of the concept of a “safe city” in the United Kingdom, as well as the work of “situational centers” with the deep introduction of digital technologies to quickly respond to crimes and incidents, as well as to reveal criminal actions as soon as possible.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on organizing mutual visits of delegations of the ministries of the interior, conducting training seminars and trainings, as well as exploring the possibility of establishing joint production of personal protective equipment.
