A delegation of the largest trading network of Russia arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Auchan Retail Russia will visit Uzbekistan from 2 to 6 June 2019 to learn about our country’s potential in the food industry and explore the possibility of concluding direct contracts with suppliers of fruits and vegetables.

The organizer of the visit is the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation and the Uzbekoziqovqatholding.

During their stay in the republic, representatives of the trading network from among the director of the procurement department A. Gil and director of the procurement of vegetables and fruits E. Bielse will hold meetings and negotiations with Uzbekoziqovqatholding, Uzagroexport, Agro Organic Product LLC, Gold Dried Fruits Export and Adis Textile.

The visit also includes a visit to the delegation of intensive gardens, markets and shopping centers located in the city of Tashkent and the metropolitan area. At the same time, businessmen will familiarize themselves with the infrastructure created in our country for the processing and storage of fruits and vegetables.

At the end of April, the embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia initiated a meeting between representatives of domestic food industry companies and the management of Auchan Retail Russia LLC, which resulted in an agreement to begin trial deliveries of Uzbek fruit and vegetables to the Auchan network from May of this year organization of the visit of the retailer’s delegation to our country.
