A delegation of the Government of Uzbekistan meets with the officials of JBIC

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to Japan, a meeting was held with the officials of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).

During the meeting, the prospects of ongoing projects in the field of information technology in Uzbekistan were discussed.

The leaders of the JBIC discussed proposals for expanding activities in Uzbekistan by attracting funds from the Japanese government and investors through participation in major projects in the field of information technology and other areas.

During the meeting, promising areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including in the field of ICT, expansion of cooperation and other important issues.

They also discussed issues related to the status of ongoing mutual projects and developed ways to further expand the project portfolio of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in Uzbekistan.

The visit of the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications to Japan will last until 5 October 2019.
