A delegation of the Association Uztekstilprom takes part in the exhibition "Fashion World Tokyo 2019"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 27-28 March, a delegation of the Uztekstilprom Association and enterprises of the textile and garment and knitwear industry for the first time takes part in the Fashion World Tokyo 2019 exhibition in Tokyo (Japan).

Participation in the exhibition is organized in order to expand export supplies to the countries of Southeast Asia, as well as to establish direct contacts with potential consumers and to conclude export contracts with them, the press service of the Uztekstilprom Association reports.

During the exhibition, meetings and negotiations with potential investors were organized and issues of further expanding cooperation in the textile and garment and knitwear industry were discussed.

In particular, negotiations were held with representatives of the Japanese QTEC & Certification Center (Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center).

During the talks, the Japanese side acquainted the Uzbek delegation with a system of certification of textile products, as well as with the work of textile testing laboratories.

Following the talks, the parties signed an agreement on further cooperation in the field of standardization and certification of textile products.

Note that at present, domestic Japanese textile enterprises use equipment from leading Japanese companies Toyota, Murata, Howa, Oshima, Yamato, Juki, Brothers, Kansai, Tsudakoma. Close cooperation with representatives of Japanese agencies and companies JICA, JETRO, Marubeni was established.
