A delegation of Italy participates in the Namangan forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of more than 20 Italian businessmen participates in the International Business Forum "Invest in Namangan", which began its work on 7 June 2109 in Namangan. The Italian delegates made up the largest group of foreign participants at this event.

The delegation included owners, managers and senior employees of major Italian agricultural companies "Vivai Zanzi" (creating intensive orchards), "Unitec" (equipment for logistic centers), "Fruit Control" (creating fruit and vegetable centers), "Advice & Consulting "(consulting in the field of agro-industry) and" Crisafulli Vuvai "(creation of nurseries).

In addition, such companies as Artec Politecnica (production of textile coatings for gardens, fields and greenhouses) and Italmatec (building materials) were represented.

Along with this, the forum was attended by the leaders of the National Union of Entrepreneurs and Farmers of Italy (UNSIC), with whom the Khokimiyat of Namangan region signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 26 April.

During the session of the forum dedicated to "success stories", the company Advice & Consulting presented the project of creating a logistics center in the Papal district Namangan Agro Logistics, carried out by a group of Italian companies.

In preparation for the forum, negotiations were held with the largest Italian company in the field of dried fruit production "Besana" regarding the creation of intensive orchards for growing different types of nuts in the Papa district.

Italian delegates take part in sectional thematic meetings, as well as hold business meetings in the B2B format, as a result of which concrete agreements on cooperation are expected to be reached.
