A delegation of Gruppo Biokimica holds talks at Association Uzcharmsanoat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Association Uzcharmsanoat hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Italian company Gruppo Biokimica - one of the leading manufacturers of chemical materials for the leather and fur industry, ranging from raw materials to finished products.

During the talks, the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the processing of leather raw materials, as well as cooperation in training specialists of the leather industry of Uzbekistan in modern innovative methods of preparing and painting leather, in particular, the use of chemicals based on natural ingredients.

The representative of Gruppo Biokimica, Mr. Eric Robert Themmen, highly appreciated the systemic reforms and government support for the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan, and therefore expressed interest in working closely with the Association in the implementation of new projects. The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in the export of processed leather from Uzbekistan to Italy.

At the end of the meeting, the foreign delegation received an invitation to participate in the International Exhibition of Leather, Footwear and Leather Products “Uzcharmexpo”, which will be held in October 2019 in Tashkent.
