Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On additional measures to further improve the system of retraining the personnel reserve for the agro-industrial complex and improve their skills”.

By the resolution, at the Tashkent State Agrarian University, a Center for training and advanced training of managers and specialists for the agro-industrial complex in the form of a state institution in the direction of "Agribusiness and management" was created.

One of the main tasks of the center is the retraining and advanced training of managers and specialists who are able to apply modern methods and technologies, “smart farming”, digital innovative technologies and information systems in the agricultural sector.

The Resolution approved the Regulation on approving the procedure for admitting managers and specialists for the agro-industrial complex to retraining courses and improving their qualifications in the field of “Agribusiness and Management”.

According to the regulations, retraining and advanced training courses for managers and specialists for the agro-industrial complex are accepted on a paid contract basis from the composition of workers with higher education and having at least 2 years of experience in the fields and sectors of the agro-industrial complex.
