Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A briefing was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade on the 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank in Tashkent. As part of the event, First Deputy Minister Aziz Voitov made an address.

It was noted that in accordance with the procedures of the Islamic Development Bank, annual meetings are held once every three years at the headquarters of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and twice in member countries. The Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank Group holds its Annual Meetings to discuss development and institutional issues.

According to the speaker, thorough preparations are underway for the successful holding of the event in the capital. All events of the Annual Meeting will be held at the Congress Hall of the Hilton Tashkent City Hotel from September 1 to 4, 2021.

It was emphasized that the current meeting will be attended by managers from 54 countries, delegates from international organizations and financial institutions, representatives of international reputable companies and business circles. To date, over 2,500 participants have registered to attend the 46th Annual Meeting.

It should be noted that in the post-view period, an event of this scale is organized for the first time in full-time format, and it is in our country.

Within the framework of the event, it is planned to sign a number of financial agreements, as well as other important documents.
