A branch of the Malaysian university Binary can be opened in Khorezm region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A press conference was held in the capital with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, dedicated to the concept of the development of higher education until 2030, Dunyo reports.

Special attention was paid to international cooperation. In particular, the head of the department’s main department Abduvali Kholikov noted that the main task set by the ministry is to develop cooperation with countries where the education system is developed in order to apply best practices in Uzbekistan.

“Cooperation in the field of education is actively developing with Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Italy, France and other countries. Moreover, the work is carried out not only by the ministry, but also directly by the educational institutions themselves,” he stressed.

At the same time, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education drew attention to the fact that such work more and more covers universities in the regions of our country. “Today, work is underway to open a branch of the Malaysian university Binary in Khorezm region, the Sharda University (India) in Andijan has been opened,” A. Kholikov added.

“55 universities of Uzbekistan have implemented 141 joint programs with universities and institutes in 21 countries. Among the participating countries are Belarus, the USA, China, France, South Korea and others. In subsequent years, we will continue active work in this direction,” he concluded.
