Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A draft resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the organization of a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Higher Educational Institution “St. Petersburg State University” has been put up for discussion on the portal for discussing draft regulatory documents.

The branch will be located at Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies - Tashkent, Mirabad district, Oybek street, 16 A. It will provide training, advanced training and retraining of specialists in the main established areas of study, including scientific and pedagogical staff.

Training at the branch will be conducted in Russian in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on the basis of curricula and programs approved by St. Petersburg State University.

Admission of applicants and certification of graduates of the branch will be carried out in accordance with the requirements, procedures and terms established by the university in agreement with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
