Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 65-year-old man, living in Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent with a diagnosis of COVID-19 was admitted to the clinic of the Research Institute of Virology since 4 July.

The patient was diagnosed with severe COVID-19 infection and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was characterized by acute respiratory failure, complication of multiple organ failure.

The patient also had concomitant diseases such as ischemic heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension.

The patient’s condition deteriorated sharply, and he died from acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, despite the resuscitation measures carried out by specialists in cardiovascular failure, decreased saturation and shortness of breath.
