Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, 57-year-old resident of the city of Jizzak T.A. was admitted to the regional infectious diseases hospital after being confirmed to have COVID-19.

She was diagnosed with severe COVID-19 infection and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was accompanied by complications in the form of acute respiratory, cardiovascular failure.

Despite all the resuscitation procedures, the patient’s condition deteriorated sharply, and she died from acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
