Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Ministry of Health, a woman, born in 1986, living in Almazar district of Tashkent, was 24 weeks pregnant. On 5 July 2020, she had COVID-19 confirmed.
Until 6 July, she was being treated at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in Tashkent.
On 6 July, the patient was transferred to the city maternity complex No. 3.
The woman was diagnosed with a severe form of COVID-19, bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory and heart failure.
Despite the efforts of the doctors, the patient’s condition worsened and she died from acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.
