822 facts of non-compliance with quarantine regime revealed in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 14 April 2020, in Tashkent, law enforcement bodies during inspections in mahallas, shops, and during a round-the-clock three-shift patrol revealed on the streets cities and other public places 822 facts of non-compliance with the quarantine regime.

Moreover, 692 people did not have medical masks. 130 people, not working anywhere, rode around the city on bicycles, without having an urgent need to go for food or medicine.

A medical mask and gloves are necessary in order to protect not so much the person as many others from him - no one can be sure that he is not infected with coronavirus. That is why, during the patrolling of the city, employees of the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs, the National Guard and other law enforcement agencies remind people of the importance of observing the quarantine rules, explain why it is so important now to try not to leave the house, how to wear the mask and why even those who need it healthy, and also explain that you cannot throw used medical masks and gloves on the ground.

Citizens are also reminded that now the epidemic situation dictates the rules, and for the sake of their own health, for the safety of your loved ones and other people, you need to minimize access to the street. Cycling should also be justified: for groceries or to the pharmacy, if it is impossible to buy within walking distance; to work if you are really heading to work.
