Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the context of the global coronavirus pandemic, the epidemiological investigation and the necessary preventive measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection bear fruit in Uzbekistan.

In achieving the results, a special role is played by thousands of medical workers who show heroism in the effective treatment of patients with coronavirus infection.

As a result of these efforts, today in four regions another 24 patients with coronavirus infection have been completely cured: 7 - from Samarkand and Surkhandarya regions and 5 - from Bukhara and Andijan regions. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health departments, they were carried out for rehabilitation.

Thus, 82 patients have recovered today, and 789 patients have been completely cured of coronavirus infection throughout the country.
