3D Model of Islamic Civilization Center Now on Yandex Maps

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ahead of the opening of the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent, a three-dimensional model of the complex is now available on Yandex Maps.

Developed with support from the city’s hokimiyat, the project allows residents and visitors to explore the architecture from various angles and navigate the surrounding area.

The detailed, full-color 3D model displays shadows, textures, and key architectural elements, including monumental portals, the central dome, and decorative facade features.

Users can preview the building’s exterior, plan walking routes, or select ideal spots for photographs. In night mode, the model features lighting that simulates the city’s real illumination.

“We are developing maps not only to help plan routes but also to familiarize people with the urban environment and cultural landmarks. The 3D model of the Islamic Civilization Center allows users to preview one of Tashkent’s new cultural sites and makes maps more intuitive for residents and tourists,” said Sardor Kadyrov, Vice President for Strategic Development at Yandex Uzbekistan.

To view the model, users can search for the center on the map or enter its name in the search bar. For exploring the facade from multiple angles, a two-finger swipe on the screen is required.

The Yandex Maps app is available for download on Google Play Market and the App Store.
