35 patients recovered from COVID-19 in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– In the clinic of the Scientific Research Institute of Virology in Tashkent city, 31 patients completely recovered from coronavirus infection and sent for rehabilitation, 4 patients in the clinic of the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.

Of those who recovered at the clinic of the Research Institute of Virology, 10 people became infected as a result of contact with patients. The remaining 21 people arrived from abroad and quarantined. After infection, they were hospitalized. Among the recovered 11 citizens are from the city of Tashkent, 5 from Samarkand and Tashkent regions, 3 from Namangan and Ferghana regions, 2 from Bukhara region, 1 from Khorezm region and 1 more from the Republic of Tajikistan. Among the patients, 24 are men and 7 - women. The oldest of them is the 76-year-old, and the youngest is the baby born in 2019.

People, recovered at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, 1 each is from Tashkent, Syrdarya, Namangan regions and Tajikistan. Of the cured, 3 citizens (men) are drivers of international long-distance trucks and arrived from Russia, and 1 - (woman) became infected as a result of contact with patients. The oldest of them is 48 years old, and the youngest is 30 years old.

In Tashkent, to date, 813 patients have been cured, and now their number has reached 848 people.

Currently, 2,407 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
