Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - 22 patients with coronavirus infection have fully recovered in the Ferghana regional infectious diseases hospital. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were carried out for rehabilitation.

Of those who recovered, 19 were brought to Ferghana from Turkey by charter flights, 1 from Egypt and 1 from Prague, all of them were quarantined. After confirmation of the coronavirus infection, they were hospitalized in the regional infectious diseases hospital.

One patient from Ferghana became infected as a result of contact with a patient with coronavirus. Of these, 9 are from the city of Tashkent, 5 from the Kashkadarya region, 2 from the Tashkent region, and 1 each from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Andijan, Ferghana and Syrdarya regions. Among the patients, 10 are men and 12 - women, the oldest 49 years old, and the youngest 16 years old.

To date, 30 patients have been cured in Ferghana region, and now their number has reached 52.

In particular, another 10 patients with coronavirus infection recovered in the infectious diseases hospital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. With the participation of officials of the Ministry of Health of the Republic, they were carried out for rehabilitation.

One of the recovered is from Ferghana region, nine - from Karakalpakstan (seven from the city of Nukus, one each from Kungrad and Kegeyli districts). All of them became infected as a result of contact with patients with coronavirus. Of the patients, 3 men and 7 women, the oldest 42 years old, and the youngest 12 years old. Thanks to effective treatment procedures, laboratory studies today have shown that they are healthy.

Until this time, 19 patients have recovered in Karakalpakstan, and now their number is 29.

To date, 689 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
