Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Fourteen people fully recovered from coronavirus infection In Samarkand region and went for rehabilitation, and 11 patients – in Ferghana region.
All cured in Samarkand region were from this region (9 people from Taylak region, 3 from the city of Samarkand and 2 from Akdarya district), and they all became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among them, 8 are men and 6 are women, the oldest - 70 years old, and the youngest - 8 years old.
To date, 80 patients have been treated in the region, now there are 94 of them.
All recovered in Ferghana are from this region (5 people from Altiaryk district, 4 from Kuva district, 1 each from Margilan and Rishtan district). 3 of them became infected as a result of contact with patients. The remaining 8 came from Russia and were quarantined. When the infection was detected, they were hospitalized. All patients are men, the oldest of them is 45 years old, and the youngest is 28 years old.
Prior to this, 139 patients were cured in Ferghana region, and now their number has reached 150 people. Currently, 7 people are being treated in COVID-19 area. Thus, this region is very close to obtaining the status of a territory free of coronavirus.
Currently, 1,945 people have been cured of coronavirus infection nationwide.
