Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to the latest data, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 504. Of these, 212 are men and 292 are women.

In terms of age, among patients

0-9 years - 20 people (4%);

10-19 years old - 29 (5.8%);

20-29 years old - 84 (16.7%);

30-39 years old - 132 (26.2%);

40-49 years old - 137 (27.2%);

50-59 years - 72 (14.3%);

60-69 years old - 22 (4.4%);

70-79-7 (1.4%);

80 years old - 1 (0.2%) people.

At present, 194 patients are being treated in the city of Tashkent, 84 in Bukhara, 70 in Ferghana, 61 in Andijan, 51 in Namangan, 18 in Khorezm, 16 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 6 in Kashkadarya, 2 in the Navoi region, one each in Samarkand. and Jizzakh regions, in medical institutions specialized in the treatment of infectious diseases.

It should be noted that citizens who are diagnosed with the disease as a result of laboratory tests are transferred to specialized medical institutions in quarantine territory for treatment regardless of their place of permanent residence.

All patients are treated in accordance with international standards.

To date, 30 people have fully recovered from this disease.

The Ministry of Health in cooperation with relevant ministries and departments conducts an epidemiological investigation and takes all preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
