Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz conducts a number of measures to increase the volume of natural gas production. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Currently, 2 gas and 22 gas condensate fields, 2 primary gas treatment devices and one integrated gas treatment device are used in the management.

Construction and installation work is underway at the compressor station with an annual capacity of 5.0 billion cubic meters to increase the pressure of natural gas, a 6-technological network for processing sulfur compounds of natural gas with an annual capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters and an annual production capacity of 80.0 thousand tonnes of liquefied gas.

Intensification work is underway in wells to increase the production of natural gas in the fields under management, measures and work plan schemes were prepared and reviewed by experts.

With the construction and commissioning of these devices at the Gazli Oil and Gas Production Administration, with an increase in volume, 2.0 million cubic meters of natural gas, 219 tonnes of liquefied gas and 102 tonnes of gas condensate per day will be produced, as well as an improvement in the quality of natural gas supplied to the main gas pipeline Uztransgaz.
