Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in the city of Tashkent, 18 patients completely recovered and went for rehabilitation.

Among the recovered, 10 are men and 8 are women. 15 people arrived from abroad and were quarantined. As soon as their coronavirus was detected, they were hospitalized. The remaining three citizens became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among them, 6 people are from Samarkand region, 3 each from Tashkent and Kashkadarya regions, 1 each from the cities of Tashkent and Ferghana, Khorezm regions, and 3 from the Republic of Tajikistan. The oldest of them is 66 years old, and the youngest are 3 years old (twins).

Before that, 733 patients were cured in the city of Tashkent, and now their number hits 751.

To date, 2,293 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
