16 People Granted Uzbek Citizenship by Presidential Decree

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Sixteen individuals have been granted citizenship of Uzbekistan by decree of the country’s president.

From today, their new status is officially recognized.

A ceremonial event was held at the Tashkent city administration, where the new citizens were congratulated by Tashkent Hokim Shavkat Umurzakov and Colonel Ravshan Sultonhodjaev, head of the city’s Main Department of Internal Affairs.

According to the city administration, the presentation of documents took place in a festive atmosphere.
