Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first half of this year, within the framework of the program, 13 projects worth more than 1000 times the base estimated amount in areas not prohibited by law by 48.4 billion soums were assessed as promising and for they were provided with the allocation of credit funds for 28.7 billion soums.
These projects envisages implementation in the Tashkent region (5 units), Navoi region (4 units), Kashkadarya region (3 units) and Tashkent city (1 unit).
Loan funds for 6 or 46.1 percent of projects were provided by the joint-stock commercial bank Agrobank.
As a result of the implementation of these projects on the ground, it became possible to create 1,374 new jobs. More than 700 women will be employed in 4 projects for the sewing business.
When choosing the prospects of projects over 1000 times within the framework of the program and the allocation of loans to them, the following were taken into account:
firstly, the program is aimed at providing comprehensive support to low-income families and their activities aimed at generating income;
secondly, compliance with the types of activities established in the framework of the program "Every family is an entrepreneur";
third, a high level of impact on the socio-economic development of the region;
and fourth, focus on financing projects that make a significant contribution to poverty reduction in the regions.
For the remaining period of 2020, measures have been developed to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of the program and improve the socio-economic development of the regions, the creation of new jobs.
