Ministry of ICT signs a memorandum of cooperation with VISA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of a trip to the United States, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov visited VISA in Washington on 21 June. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Education Rustam Karimjonov and director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov.

On the agenda was the discussion of cooperation in the field of development and capacity building of small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, the parties exchanged views on the creation of a potential partner platform, including online payments and others.

The delegation from Uzbekistan also visited the VISA information center. The guests were told in detail about the activities of the center and made a presentation.

During the meeting, the Ministry of ICT and VISA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the development, digitization and implementation of technologies in the field of ICT in Uzbekistan.
