Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 October 2019, a delegation of the Russian Federation, headed by Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, visited the Humo Arena ice palace in the center of Tashkent.
In the course of getting acquainted with the complex and its conditions, the high guest was informed about the features of the ice arena. It was noted that “Humo Arena” is the first ultramodern multifunctional ice complex in Uzbekistan, built using the most modern and advanced technologies in architecture and design, which are harmoniously combined with elements of national culture. The national idea of love, happiness and freedom - the Humo Bird - is embedded in the architectural idea of the object.
The infrastructure of the ice complex includes a large ice arena with a capacity of 12,500 seats, with seating for spectators at three levels, a training ice arena with a capacity of 200 spectators. Also, three comfortable VIP-boxes for guests of honor, 34 VIP-boxes with a capacity of 14 to 22 seats.
In addition, there is a premium restaurant and cafe with panoramic views of the Training Ice Arena. The complex is equipped with modern rooms for athletes, gyms, dressing rooms for artists, a press center, a conference hall, sporting goods stores, fitness and a children’s educational and entertainment zone.
In the adjacent territory there are multi-level parking, recreational areas for the rest of the family. Important and priority is the fact that all these services are available for people with disabilities.
