Uzbekistan, UAE share experience in providing public services

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Courses to improve the skills of public service centers staff was launched at Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan. Specialists from the United Arab Emirates will increase their skills in providing high quality services to a growing number of public services.
These trainings are conducted within the framework of agreements reached following the visit of the head of state to the United Arab Emirates in March 2019. Then, an agreement was reached with the Government of the United Arab Emirates on large-scale cooperation in improving public administration, developing long-term development strategies, introducing innovations into the activities of state bodies, and improving the quality of education and training with modern, popular qualifications, and developing tourism and logistics infrastructure.
Refresher courses for employees of Center for state service (CSS) "Happy Customers" will be held on 22-26 July. They envisage the exchange of experience between the two countries in the provision of public services, the organization of work with the population, the study of innovative approaches in training personnel with modern and relevant knowledge, skills and competencies.
As part of the training, it is planned to consider various cases (typical situations) that CSS staff may encounter when communicating with service providers.
To date, the UAE has achieved significant success in the provision of public services and occupy one of the leading positions in international ratings in this area.
This event is aimed at improving the efficiency of the internal functioning of departments. In addition, with the help of this training, it is planned to improve the qualifications of CSS employees, who will provide services to the population - to establish specific standards of ethics, aesthetics, level of attention to each applicant, to create a favorable environment for communication with the population.
In the ranking of countries in terms of e-government development, compiled by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the UAE is ranked 6th in terms of e-smart services development and 2nd in the overall level of telecommunications infrastructure development.
