Number of flights between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to be increased to 32 flights per week
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agreed to increase the number of flights between two countries, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan said.
According to the committee, the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to increase the frequency of flights between countries.
Since the beginning of spring-summer navigation in 2019, Air Astana and Uzbekistan Airways have increased the number of flights from 7 to 10 per week between the cities of Almaty and Tashkent, and from 4 to 6 flights between the cities of Astana and Tashkent from each parties.
As a result, the total number of flights between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be increased from 22 to 32 flights per week. Flights will be operated on aircraft of E190 and A320 model.
