Uztextilprom enterprises to take part in Heimtextil 2019 International Trade Fair
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8-10 January, enterprises of Uztextilprom (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association will take part in Heimtextil International Trade Fair for home and contract textiles, in Frankfurt, Germany.
A delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of Uztextilprom Association representatives and a number of domestic manufacturing companies presents the export and investment opportunities of the textile industry of the country at Heimtextil.
Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles. Heimtextil is held annually since 1971.
About 70,000 trade visitors from 135 countries came to visit the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles in 2018. A total of 2,975 exhibitors presented their innovations during the trade fair.
Enterprises of Uztextilprom Association take an active part in Heimtextil annually. In 2018, the Association took part with the national stand “Made in Uzbekistan”. Following the fair, contracts for the export of textile products worth US$3.7 million were concluded.
At the fair, Uztex Group enterprises are presenting their products under Fadolli Ricci brand. The annual capacity of the enterprise is 7 thousand tons of terry cloth or 14 million finished terry products. Especially for this fair, the company has developed an exclusive design of home textiles (terry and waffle towels, bathrobes). A new product line of the company under Uztex Home brand – knitted printed sheets, tablecloths, terry cloth covers, highly in demand on the European market is also presented.
In addition, the Bahmal Group Company presents home textile products. The enterprise is located in the most remote region of Uzbekistan – Khorezm region.
During the visit, representatives of the Association with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan are planning to hold a number of meetings and presentations of the textile industry of Uzbekistan for representatives of the German textile industry, the VDMA Textile Machinery Association, the Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion Industry, the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce, and textile importers of Cologne.
It is also planned to visit Germany’s major manufacturers of textile machinery Karl Mayer, Bruekner and others.
