Premier of Indian-Uzbek comedy film Hoichoi Unlimited takes place in India
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, the premiere of the comedy feature film Hoichoi Unlimited took place in cinemas in India.
It should be noted that this is the first large-scale film in the modern history of cooperation between cinematographers of Uzbekistan and India. A feature film of this magnitude has not been filmed since the time of the joint film Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
Such famous Indian actors as Deepak Adhikari, Maitra Rukmani, Puja Banerjee, Datta Rajatawa, Sinha Manasi took part in the shooting of the film.
The agreement on the creation of this film was reached with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India. During the visit of the delegation of Uzbekkino to India in April 2018 as part of the Days of Uzbek Cinema in India, an agreement was signed with the Indian film company “Dev Entertainment”.
Filming was carried out this summer in the territory of our country, in particular in Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.
Producer and lead star of the film Deepak Adhikari noted that “the first three days of the Hoichoi Unlimited show testifies to the huge interest of the Indian audience in this film. Demonstration of the film in India and in other foreign countries will popularize Uzbekistan, its beautiful and historic cities. ” He also added that Dev Entertainment will continue to work with Uzbek partners to create new collaborative films.
