UZSE turnover exceeds 170.9bn soums in 1H

Trade turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 170.9 billion soums in January-June 2018, which is 5.2 times higher compared to the same period of 2017.
According to the exchange, transactions for 115.9 billion soums were registered in the Main Board section, 38.6 million soums in the section for transactions for individuals without clearing (NC Board), 43.6 billion soums in the section in the negotiation auction mode (Nego Board).
In the section on registration of transactions of the initial public offering of shares (IPO) of JSC Quartz, transactions for 7.5 billion soums were registered and in the section on sale of blocks of shares (block-trading) - 3.76 billion soums.
The greatest investment attractiveness was enjoyed by securities of companies engaged in the provision of financial services - banking services, insurance and leasing companies.
About 72.3% of deals or 123.5 billion soums were conducted with shares of the financial sector, 6.6% or 11.2 billion soums – industrial sector, 5.5% or 1.4 billion soums – enterprises of construction industry and 0.6% or 0.97 billion soums – agro-industrial complex.
