British envoy holds talks with Uzbek businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New Ambassador of Great Britain to Uzbekistan Christopher Allen held a meeting with the Uzbek entrepreneurs on 3 December, the Association of International Business and Technology (AMBiT) said.
AMBiT said it is preparing a visit of the Uzbek entrepreneurs to Great Britain with the assistance of the British Embassy in Tashkent. The visit will take place from 26 January to 2 February 2016 and the Uzbek delegation to visit London, Cambridge and Edinburgh.
The delegation will familiarize with sights of Great Britain and study the best experience idea and approaches of local companies. The programme of the visit will also allow to hold meetings with the organizations on individual request of the delegates.
At the meeting, the Ambassador talked with the representatives of business circles of Uzbekistan and answered to their questions.
Allen noted that he arrived in Tashkent recently, but he saw enormous potential of human resources. Two weeks ago, London has successfully hosted an annual meeting of the Uzbek-British council on trade and industry (UBTIC) and the envoy was highly impressed by the performances of young heads of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan.
“I can say with confidence that the companies, which were included into the programe of the visit, are the best, not only in Britain, but in the world. I am pleased that the entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan have the opportunity to gain new experience and, of course, a new impetus to their business,” Ambassador Christopher Allan said.
