Uzbekistan mines 860,000 tonnes of coal in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan mined 860,000 tonnes of coal in the first quarter of 2015, which rose by 1.5% compared to the same period of 2014, the press service of Uzbekugol said.
According to the company, Uzbekugol mined about 804,500 tonnes of coal (+1.6%), Shargunkomir – 25,200 tonnes (+26%) and Apartal – 30,300 tonnes (-13.5%).
In the reporting period, the company supplied 819,700 tonnes of ocal to consumers. Uzbekugol supplied 776,700 tonnes of coal (-25.3%), Shargunkomir – 28,200 tonnes (+40.5) and Apartak – 27,800 tonnes (-35.6%).
The volume of produced goods in current prices made up 69.6 billion soums in the first three months of 2015, which grew by 25%.
