Aeroflot to start to fly to Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian airline Aeroflot opens its own regular flights on route Moscow-Samarkand-Moscow from 16 January 2015.
The Russian airline said that it will conduct one flight a week from terminal D of Sheremetevo on Airbus A320 airplanes.
The flights will be conducted on Fridays. The flight will leave Moscow at 22:55 (local time) and arrive in Samarkand at 04:55 (local time). Return flight will leave Samarkand at 06:45 on Saturday and arrived in Moscow at 08:45 (all local time).
Samarkand is the second largest city of Uzbekistan and one of ancient cities of the world. It is important tourism center and was included to list of World Heritage in 2001.
The airline said that new flight is opened in line with its strategy, which envisages development of flights to the CIS states.
